Very Interesting...

Cordie had done this awhile back and I thought it would be interesting to put the kids next to Taylor and I because people are always saying how much Tayson and Alli look like Taylor and Kam looks like me. When I saw the Scoresby's it reminded me to try it. I think the program just got confused and decided to just say that the kids look equally like Tay and I. But here are the pix I used anyway...

5 Things I love about my Husband...

#1 He is my hero! He came into our family and never looked back.

#2 He is such an awesome DAD. He loves each of his children and has a unique relationship with all of them. He is not too busy for time with Kam, not too macho for hugs with Alli, and not too cool to play on the ground with Tayson. I should also mention that our dog, Sino, gets treated like a baby in our house because of Taylor.

#3 He is the most talented person I know and has an eye for detail in all he does... just look at the things he paints.

#4 He has a great sense of humor although not everyone gets to see it right off the bat. He isn't one to "chit-chat" unless it is about cars, paintballing, golf, RC, or sharks. (And just remember he is always right, no seriously, I have tried to prove this is not the case over and over and have yet to be right!)

#5 He is always doing things to show me how much he loves me. What wife can say they are as spoiled as I am... he puts the kids to bed, cooks, cleans (even vomit in the middle of the night), folds laundry, gives long massages on a regular basis, plans activities to do with the kids, takes me on dates regularly, watches the kids whenever I need, ect...ect... I could go on for hours. What can I say...He is the best!!!!!!!

A Day in the Life

Yesterday we went to SLC to see the "Festival of the Trees" and also went to IKEA. When we got home Tayson was running around with a chop stick in his hand and fell. The chop stick stabbed him in the eye. I took him to the ER. He has a corneal abrasion and a hemorrhage which requires antibiotic drops. Just another day in the life of Tayson.

I had to just hurry and add one more post to let you know that I recieved notice today stating that I got accepted for nursing school!!!! I start January 31st. P.S. Thanks Mary :)

A Day in the Life...

I had to post what happened today... I had a bunch of things to take out to the garage and anyone that has been to our house knows that when the door is open, Sino and Tayson charge the door to get out. Well, I had my hands full and couldn't stop them from following me outside. I opened the car door to get the garage door opener and they jumped in the car. Tayson loves to play in the car. (He puts the keys in and out of the ignition, climbs from front to back and pushes every button and turns ever knob) Anyway... my brilliant mind thought that they would be fine in the car instead of following me in the parking lot and...
as you could imagine: Tayson locked the doors!!! He obviously could care less, but I ran in the house to get the extra keys and yep... Tay had them at work, 30 minutes away. I called him to hurry home and in the meantime I thought I would snap a few pix of the event. 15 minutes later Tayson casually opened the car door and climbed out. What a genius!!! Actually he had no clue there was a problem and when I took him back into the house...
He had a massive tantrum because I took the keys away!!!

Sino

The kids reminded me that I needed to post pix of our dog, Sino (see - no), who is two years old. We have had him since he was 3 months old. He is a purebread Miniature Pincher and is as big as he will get. He is a special part of our family and we love him tonz. I just wish I could get him to quit barking at the door and strangers. He loves when other kids come to play but he tends to scare them by barking and jumping on them.

A Message from Kam

I just wanted to post a survey asking everyone what their favorite video game is. I bought an XBOX with my birthday money and have had a blast playing it. Mom says I don't need any more game systems (I already have a DS, GameCube and a PS2) ;) I have also added a list of my top ten video games...

Kam's 11th Birthday Party!!!

Here are the pix from Kam's 11th birthday party. He invited about 10 of his friends and they had a Guitar Hero battle. His friend Zack had the highest score so he won a CD case. Kam made all his invitations out of the "RockStar" scrapbook paper and also burned CD's of his favorite songs to give as party favors. I should have taken a pix of his cake... it was shaped like a guitar and Taylor airbrushed the color on the frosting.

Hi everyone :) I think I am finally starting to figure this whole thing out. (Thanks Cordie) Just to bring everyone up to date... I started working at Michael's two weeks ago as their Price Integrity Coordinator (just for the holidays) and ... We are going through the temple on November 21st.

This family picture was taken last spring. I can't believe how much the kids have changed over the summer.

This summer was a crazy one... Kameron and Alli both played soccer and I had the opportunity to coach Alli's team. They were all so cute (GO GATERS!!!). Tayson stayed busy running and singing all day long. Tay is still painting and always looking for opportunities to show his creativity with faux painting. I am still in school working towards my RN. I stay busy in our ward as the ward pianist, HFPE leader, and canning specialist. I also took on PTA this year over Education.
